What it does.
A proper Mac app, with a window and a Dock icon. It waits for a file to land, asks one question, where should this go, and puts its best guess on top.

A file lands and iFiley has read it. The folder it belongs in is highlighted and waiting. Right? Press Return.
Or type any folder
On your Mac, in your clouds, on a plugged-in drive. Every folder is already there. Nothing to add first, no list of places to keep.
Or make a folder inside it
Pick the main folder, name the new one, and the file goes straight in. It suggests the name from the document.
Names it properly
Rename as it files, with the date, the folder or the original name. Turn it on once in Settings.
A dozen attachments? Still one click.
Gmail's zip of attachments gets unpacked and every file offered together, headed for the same folder. Untick anything that belongs somewhere else.
Shrinks it on the way in
PDFs and images come down to a size you choose. Only the pictures inside get smaller, so the text still searches and selects.
Never skips anything quietly
Signature images and installers are held back, not filed. Each one says why, stays exactly where it landed, and is one click from being filed anyway.
Undo, for everything
iFiley only ever moves files. Every filing sits in Activity with an Undo beside it, and Delete sends a file to the Trash, never gone for good.

Reading, text recognition, ranking and filing all happen on your Mac. No account, no analytics. It only goes online to check your free week or licence and to look for updates, and none of that carries anything from your files.
One honest caveat. If you file into Google Drive, Drive syncs it, the same as it always has. That's your cloud doing its job, in the folder you chose.

Open Finder, find the file, find the folder six levels deep in Drive, drag, hope. Twenty seconds and a train of thought, every time. iFiley makes filing cheaper than not filing.

A download, an export, an email attachment. iFiley notices the moment it finishes arriving and opens its window, or just badges the Dock and waits. Your call.

The name, the text inside, scans read with the Mac's own text recognition, the names it spots, and the site it came from.

It weighs your folders
Five signals, one score, every folder. Words that turn up in every line of work, like “invoice”, count for nothing. A rare one like “Bramblewood”, or a folder's own name turning up in the file, counts for a lot.

You press return
Filed, shrunk if you asked, and that folder now knows a little more about what belongs in it. Not sure? Nothing is picked for you: type any folder's name. Changed your mind? Undo.

Fair questions.
Do I have to set up rules?
No. There's no “if the name contains X, move it to Y” to maintain. It works from the folders you already have and learns from what you file.
Does it read my documents?
Yes, on your Mac. That's how it tells a contract from a council notice. iFiley never sends what it reads anywhere.
Which clouds does it work with?
Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, iCloud Drive and Box, any other cloud folder in Library ▸ CloudStorage, and any folder on your Mac or a plugged-in drive, with nothing to add first. It files into the folders those apps already keep on your Mac, so your cloud syncs them the way it always does.
What if it picks the wrong folder?
It only puts a folder on top, ready for Return, when it's sure. When it isn't, nothing is picked for you: type any folder's name and it's there. And if you've already filed it, Undo puts it back.
What happens when the trial ends?
Filing stops until you buy, and iFiley tells you so rather than quietly doing nothing. New files still land and wait in the Inbox, untouched. Everything you've already filed stays exactly where you put it, and Undo still works.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Email [email protected] within 14 days of buying and you get all of it back. No form and no questions. That key stops working once the refund goes through, and it's one refund per customer.
Is it a menu bar app?
No, it's a normal Mac app with a window and a Dock icon. There's an optional menu bar item so it can keep catching files with the window closed. Turn that off and closing the window quits it.
How many Macs does a licence cover?
One Mac, or up to five with the 5 Mac licence. Moving to a new Mac? Choose Deactivate this Mac in Settings on the old one, then enter your key on the new one.
Which Macs does it run on?
