Privacy
iFiley reads your documents so it can file them, and it does all of that on your Mac. This page lists everything that does leave it. It's a short list.

Your files, and everything iFiley reads in them.

Only what it takes to sell you a licence.

The app
iFiley has no account, and sends no analytics or crash reports. It goes online for one thing: to activate or deactivate your licence. That sends the key and a random ID made up for this Mac. Not your Mac's name, not your files, and nothing from inside them.
Buying
Payments go through Stripe, and we never see your card. Stripe passes us your email, your country and what you bought, so we can send your key and receipt and work out tax. What Stripe keeps is covered by Stripe's own privacy policy.
This website
ifiley.com runs on Cloudflare. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn't follow you to other sites. No ads, no tracking pixels.
Your cloud drives
If you file into Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, iCloud Drive or Box, that service syncs the file the way it always does. That's your cloud, in the folder you chose. iFiley itself never uploads anything.
Launch list
If you leave your email on the download page, we keep it for one thing: telling you when iFiley is out. It's stored with Cloudflare, never shared, and deleted when you ask.
Mail to [email protected] reaches us through Cloudflare. We keep it so we can help you again later, and delete it when you ask.
Who else sees it
Stripe, for payments. Cloudflare, for this website, email and licence checks. Nobody else. We don't sell data and never will.
Your say
Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or for all of it to be deleted, at [email protected]. We'll do it within 30 days. Stripe keeps payment records for as long as tax law requires.
Who we are
iFiley is made by petersindex, an independent developer in Australia. If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it, and customers hear about anything that matters by email.
